Hourly Rates
Standard hourly rates for 1:1 online tutoring are competitive and reflect the high level of expertise and examiner experience provided. I have not raised my prices since before the COVID pandemic. Payment and terms:

Specific rates for GCSE and A-Level for the 2026-27 academic year are:

+ Up to and including GCSE level: £55 ph
+ A-Level / Advanced Level: £60 ph

All sessions are 60 minutes in length and most students prefer a regular weekly slot at the same time.Â

Unlike many agencies and tuition companies, my fee includes additional help such as support by email or WhatsApp, marking of mock exams and so on. All the fees you pay go into supporting the student, not revenue for an offshore company who does not pay UK tax! I am easily contactable. You will not wait 72 hours for an AI chat bot to respond to you.Â

With me, there are no catches - no finder's fee, no registration fee, no commission, no commitment to pay for a block of lessons - you just pay for the lessons you have, once we start, by discussion.

Options
While block booking is not required, I offer structured packages for intensive revision and term-long support. These options provide a consistent schedule and can be customized to cover specific subject modules or exam preparation strategies ahead of formal assessments.
Payment Terms
You do not need to pay on the website or use it to book lessons. Payment is made directly via bank transfer prior to the lesson or on the day of teaching, or within 24 hours of the lesson completion.Â
There are no registration fees or middle-man commissions.Â
I ask for the first lesson to be paid in advance, subsequently by mutual agreement.
You do not need to pay in blocks, if you do not wish - most of my clients pay weekly.Â
